Govt terminates three erring officials from JKRTC

Jammu Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) Authorities have terminated the services of three officers/officials involved in ‘misappropriation of Corporation revenue and dereliction of legitimate duties.’

Jammu Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) Authorities have terminated the services of three officers/officials involved in ‘misappropriation of Corporation revenue and dereliction of legitimate duties.’

As per the JKRTC, the terminated employees are ‘Abdul Majid Dar Conductor No. 2490 involved in carrying 43 passengers without tickets out of 55 passengers boarded in the JKRTC Bus on Srinagar-Anantnag route on 16.10.2021; Sham-us-din, Conductor No. 2691 committed 07 offenses in the past and again booked for carrying 17 passengers without ticket in the JKRTC Bus on Ganderbal-Srinagar route on 12.08.2021 and Rouf Ahmad Shah Helper No. 1491 remained 5 times absent in the past and is again on un-authorized absence from duty with effect from 23.7.2021.’

The Managing Director JKRTC has warned all the employees to perform their duties with full zeal and refrain from causing losses to the Corporation either by misappropriating the funds or due to incompetence while performing their duties.
